InfoTech Job Market Driven Scholarships 2024/25

  1. There will be a maximum of TWO scholarships per academic year. The value of each scholarship is HK$12,000.
  2. The Scholarships shall be offered to full-time UGC-funded local undergraduate students of any of the following undergraduate programmes:
    3. College of Engineering Bachelor of Science in Computer Science,
    Department of Computer Science
    Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Data Engineering,
    Department of Electrical Engineering
    Bachelor of Engineering in Information Engineering,
    Department of Electrical Engineering
    Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering,
    Department of Electrical Engineering
    College of Science Bachelor of Science in Computing Mathematics,
    Department of Mathematics
    School of Data Science Bachelor of Science in Data Science
    Bachelor of Science in Data and Systems Engineering
  3. The student(s) shall have achieved outstanding performance in the Final Year Project (“FYP”) related to Information and Communication Technology (“ICT”) of the relevant academic year.
  4. The FYP shall be closely related to or implemented by hot skills highly sought after by the ICT job market. In the current academic year, InfoTech considers the following areas as hot skills in the ICT job market of Hong Kong. To be awarded, potential students must demonstrate competence in the application of at least one of the following areas in the FYPs:
    • Java or Java Application Framework development
    • C#.Net or Python development
    • Mobile Apps Development
    • Internetworking
    • Cybersecurity
