Job Key No 41017 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 61369-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 24 Sep 2026 Contract Period 02 Nov 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (2 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mong Kok Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System development, migration, enhancement, testing, ongoing maintenance, and support of IT systems and public-facing services Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LD; - Assist the Project Manager in project initiation, planning, execution, and team supervision - Perform cost estimation and manage procurement processes for outsourced services, hardware, and software acquisitions - Conduct detailed manpower resource planning for system development, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance & support, aligned with government-adopted standards and methodologies - Execute intensive Java programming and debugging tasks independently to develop new systems, maintain and enhance existing functionalities, and ensure high performance and reliability of internal and public-facing applications - Lead and conduct system testing (unit, integration, user acceptance test), facilitate end-user training, and manage data conversion and conversion activities - Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, user manuals, and etc. - Monitor outsourced service contractors to ensure quality and compliance - Collaborate with external vendors and partners to design, implement, and maintain scalable IT systems, digital services and websites - Provide technical support and IT advisory services to internal stakeholders - Carry out other tasks assigned by supervisors Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling system support issues and bug fixing - Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude - Experience in iAM Smart+ is desirable - Must have work experience in the Government - Work experience in the Labour Department is desirable - Interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English - Written test may be required during the interview Technical Skills: . At least 6 years' experience in Document Flow/Workflow Management System (DOC); . At least 6 years' experience in Information System Study (ISS); . At least 6 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF); . At least 6 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Reporting (Crystal Report, iReport) (REP) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 6 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
