To support DPO's innovation and technology related exhibitions held in Guangdong Province on same day return basis, the frequency is no more than 5 times in a year on a need basis. Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) This is a CSA position responsible for supporting ICT industry development in the areas of Mainland cooperation and ICT collaboration matters between Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland in the areas of digital economy development; and various activities related to cross-boundary data flow initiatives. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; - To research the development of digital technologies and latest trends (e.g. latest AI tools and IT project management tools, etc.); - To take part in IT system coordination activities (e.g. Helpdesk Support, liaison with relevant stakeholders, etc.); - To support senior management's participation in the Chinese Mainland and local events / meetings related to ICT including the preparation of speeches, event briefs and government press releases and provide administration and logistic support; - To coordinate with Mainland ministries in the planning and execution of ICT competition which targeting for facilitating collaboration between Hong Kong technical enterprises and the Chinese Mainland; - To plan and execute exhibitions of winning entries of local ICT competitions in the Chinese Mainland with a view to helping our technical enterprises tap into the enormous domestic market; - To conduct research and assessment on ICT and Mainland-related matters; - To liaise with internal and external parties on Mainland ICT events and visits; - To review / provide inputs / comments on documentations from relevant authorities, organisations and bodies on ICT related matters; - To assist in conducting various marketing campaigns, production of promotion materials and videos, and contractor management for delivery of marketing, promotion and event management services; - To provide support for activities related to cross-boundary data flow initiatives and - To undertake any other duties assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Fluency in English and Putonghua, possess good English and Chinese writing and communication skills; - Good understanding of the ICT development in the Chinese Mainland. (e.g. recent trends, focus areas of development, National 15th Five-Year Plan, etc.); - Good understanding of ICT cooperation between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong (e.g. CEPA, Memorandum of Understanding on Facilitating Cross-boundary Data Flow within the Greater Bay Area, Cross-boundary Public Services, etc.); - Has experience in event management; - Has experience in organising publicity activities such as marketing events, video production or exhibitions; - Has experience in conducting promotion through websites, social media channels such as Xiaohungshu, WeChat, Facebook and Instagram, e-newsletter, etc.; - Working on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays is occasionally required upon request. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in Website Administration (WEA); . 4 years' experience in Chinese Processing (CHI) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in event management (EMG); . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 2 years' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR); . Excellent Putonghua is a must; . Excellent written English is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in IT marketing and promotion (MAR) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in customer relations (ECR) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in negotiation (NEG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
