Job Key No 40946 Job Title/ Category Lead Architect (Enterprise Architect - Application) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Kwun Tong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Design end-to-end application architectures including microservices, APIs, data models and integration patterns; - Ensure applications are designed for high availability, low latency and seamless horizontal scaling; - Define iterative roadmap for modernization and cloud native migration; - Define, promote and enforce architectural pattern, and CICD best practices; - Participate in the architectural review boards to ensure alignment with organization strategic roadmap; - Review the solutions proposed from different project teams to ensure it aligns with the architecture roadmap of the group; - Provide technical guidance to the project teams to ensure no technical debt being implemented; - Ensure solutions’ alignment with IT and business strategies and business capabilities, reuse principles, and vendor strategies - Continuously assess industry trends to ensure platforms remain future-proof and competitive - Perform other duties or projects as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 15.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines; - At least 15 years of relevant software engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on application architecture design; - Experience designing and deploy large-scale application in production environments; - Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes); - Expert knowledge of API design and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ); - Strong understanding of rational databases and NoSQL solutions; - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps tools; - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
