Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; - Conduct requirement study and system development activities including system architecture, application design, system development, system testing, and user acceptance for the revamp of the address search function and enhancements to the Platform. - Design and implement system enhancements to improve functionality and performance. - Provide maintenance support for public-facing and internal API applications, as well as the Platform, covering web applications, API gateway platform, and related API applications. - Support public and internal enquiries regarding the API applications and the Platform. - Support operational activities for public-facing and internal API applications, as well as the Platform, including data consolidation, maintenance of the public-facing theme page, and user on-boarding support. - Perform system design and program development of related modules to enhance service quality. - Provide production support including troubleshooting, monitoring system stability, production rollout, and system nursing. - Deliver outside office hours support when required, for urgent activities such as incident resolution and program deployment. - Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - At least 3 years working experience in Java program, MySQL or equivalent - At least 2 years working experience in web application development, web service, web application server and system analysis and design - Preferably with experience in AI models, Solr, container-based technology, such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, API Management Application and public cloud solution - Candidate should have good command of spoken Cantonese and good command of spoken and writing skill in English, good command of spoken Putonghua is preferred but not mandatory Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV). Non-technical Skills: . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
