Implement responsive frontend components and mobile-first features for the BIM-AM portal to enhance accessibility for facility maintenance. 2. Develop and support the technical integration of mobile and web interfaces with backend services and existing platforms (AIMP, CDE, GIS middleware). 3. Conduct hands-on automated testing and UI optimisation to ensure seamless performance and visual consistency across mobile devices. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; 1. Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile application features with a focus on UI/UX responsiveness. 2. Implement frontend components and responsive layouts using modern web frameworks. 3. Develop and maintain robust backend APIs and server-side logic to facilitate data exchange between frontend components and core systems. 4. Execute automated frontend testing (e.g., Selenium) to ensure UI component functionality. 5. Collaborate on UI/UX design implementation to ensure a seamless mobile-first user experience. 6. Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues to optimise application performance for mobile devices. 7. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to maintain visual consistency and quality. 8. Participate in the enhancement and integration of the BIM-AM Portal, AIMP, and CDE with other internal and external systems. 9. Execute feasibility studies, user requirement implementation, and system development for data retrieved from CDE, Building Management System (BMS), and IoT sensors. 10. Perform hands-on software development tasks within the development life cycle, collaborating with senior developers and contractors. 11. Support system documentation, unit testing, and maintenance tasks. 12. To undertake any other duties as required by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1. Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines. 2. 3 years or above hands-on experience in IT application development, of which 1 year must be in a similar post and a comparable capacity. 3. Extensive web application development experience, with strong proficiency in full-stack development using JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and ReactJS with CSS styling, demonstrating solid competence in both frontend and backend domains. 4. Knowledge in backend languages and frameworks (Python, NodeJS). 5. Excellent self-learning skills; able to quickly research and adopt new development languages, platforms, or systems as required. 6. Thrives on technical challenges and navigating complex business logic. 7. Knowledge of message queues (e.g. MQTT, RabbitMQ, Kafka) will be an advantage. 8. Knowledge of non-traditional DBMS (e.g. TSDB, NoSQL DB, InfluxDB, MongoDB) will be an advantage. 9. Knowledge of Common Spatial Data Infrastructure (CSDI) and Geographic Information System (GIS) development for processing geospatial-based data using MapLibre, OpenLayers, Leaflet, and Caesium will be an advantage. 10. Knowledge of Linux, shell scripts, and server setup will be an advantage. 11. Experience in BIM, RFID, Building Management System (BMS), Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) and Internet of Things (IoT) is an absolute advantage. 12. Experience in database management and schema design using PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 4 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 4 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 4 years' experience in Web Services (WSV); . 1 year's experience in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in LDAP Application Programming (LDA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in project development in the specified business area (IPD); . Excellent written English is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
