Job Key No 40779 Job Title/ Category Senior Specialist (Cloud Platform) – Network & Security Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Provide technical support of the network services supporting the private cloud platform including network and security maintenance, dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect, security tools such as Cloud FW, ELB, VPN, sandbox; - Act as a primary support owner and technical domain expert for network and security components, ensuring effective incident response, evergreen upgrades, patch management and operational stability; - Support project implementation activities including new application deployments, cloud platform revamps, refreshes and enhancement; - Collaborate closely with the application and supporting teams (e.g. security team) to maintain the cloud platform, troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance for application deployment and upkeep; - Contribute to the development and maintenance of daily operations, ensuring smooth and reliable service delivery; - Develop and maintain documentations and runbooks for network security, cloud operations and incident response as required; - Provide on-call and onsite support for emergency production incidents and fire-fighting situations; - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 0.0 Requirements - University degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline; - Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in the technical support and administration of network and security infrastructure, preferably within major financial institutions; - Solid and hands-on expertise in operating and supporting network and security infrastructure including network / dataline connectivity, routing, firewall, proxy, direct connect, security tools such as ELB, VPN and sandbox; - Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as Cloud firewall, WAF is an advantage; - Familiarity with products from Fortinet, Palo Alto and Huawei is preferable; - Experience in independently managing vendor support and incident response is advantageous; - Strong commitment to deliver quality work with a positive and proactive attitude; - Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors in daily operations and project implementation; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is favorable; - Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
