Job Key No 40757 Job Title/ Category Lead Architect (Application Development) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Manage a team of application system development professionals to perform feasibility study, system design, development and implementation of the Company's application systems as well as to provide production support; - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business partners, UAT team, DevOps team and vendors if any, to ensure the overall deliverables can meet business objectives; - Ensure project deadlines are met with high quality software; - Evaluate systems effectiveness, undertake management of problem analysis and diagnosis, maintenance and enhancement of the application systems; - Define and implement design & coding standards and code reviews. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies; - Provide supervision and guidance of staff, promote professional growth and technical excellence; - Perform other duties or projects as assigned; Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 15.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 0.0 Requirements - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines; - At least 15 years of relevant software development experience, with a strong focus on cloud-native technologies and proven expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Knowledge in financial sector or payment systems are preferred - Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript (Node.js), for backend development and RESTful APIs; - Familiarity with frontend technologies including JavaScript (React, Angular, Vue.js), HTML, CSS, and TypeScript; - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and DevOps tools; - Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases; - Experience leveraging AI assisted development tools (i.e. Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance development efficiency, code quality and productivity is an advantage; - Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage remote teams and work under pressure; - Fast learner, willing to take initiatives to learn legacy and new businesses; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage.
