Job Key No 40730 Job Title/ Category Senior Project Manager (Application Development) - Quality Engineer Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Lead the team to develop the test strategy, covering test approach, phases, scope and deliverables to align with project goals; - Drive the adoption of test automation, develop frameworks/scripts to enhance efficiency and stay updated with automation trends/tools to continuously improve testing processes; - Manage the test plan, test schedule and test execution for different phases and produce dashboards for management/stakeholder communication; - Ensure all testing activities including functional testing, regression test, soak test, performance test and other non-functional tests are completed with quality and in accordance with the established guidelines and within the agreed timeframe; - Work with system development team, business team and UAT team to review and improve overall quality of deliverables; - Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.; - Mentor and guide QA engineers, foster a collaborative and innovative environment. Able to demonstrate technical expertise and leadership; - Develop long-term resources plan and manage resources effectively. Explore innovative AI application to improve testing effectiveness and coverage; - Perform other duties or projects as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 15.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 0.0 Requirements - University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines; - At least 15 years of relevant quality assurance experience, including at least 5 years in supervisory role and project management, with system testing experience in banking or financial industry; - Technical knowledge of ISO20022 message standards and RTGS would be preferred; - Strong project management skill and solid experience in quality assurance process; - Strong logical and analytical mindset and capable of comprehending both business and technical knowledge; - Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; - Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies; - Experience with AI/ML in testing including tools like TensorFlow or PyTorch is an advantage; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage; - Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with sound business sense; - Detail-oriented, independent, self-motivated, organized, good supervisory skill and able to work under pressure within tight schedules.
