Job Key No 40724 Job Title/ Category Operator (Systems Operations) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Responsible for the systems operations of IBM mainframe, AIX and Windows server platforms; - Operate and monitor the computer, network and data centre environmental facilities; - Support system maintenance windows, periodic maintenance activities and post-maintenance verification; - Ensure scheduled computer jobs or production and acceptance tests are completed successfully without errors; - Assist in verifying data backup and conducting regular backup restoration tests as required; - Monitor daily IT infrastructure operations, promptly identify system alerts, abnormalities and faults and carry out initial troubleshooting; - Ensure compliance with security access controls and operational audit requirements across all platforms; - Perform recovery routine as instructed in the event of hardware malfunctions; - Record equipment issues, initiate service calls and track repair progress; - Assist in resolving computer system related issues; - Perform shift duty on a 24/7 roster basis.
