Job Key No 40722 Job Title/ Category Senior Architect (DeveOps) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Manage and develop DevOps architecture blueprint, establish architecture standards and implement governance processes; - Provide expert advice on the adoption of new technologies including DevOps tools such as GitHub Enterprise with GitHub Actions, tools related to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) and best practices; - Propose and develop DevOps channels, processes and operations; - Evaluate, implement and streamline DevOps practices with stakeholders and assist in the adoption and integration of DevOps practices aligning with industry best practices; - Establish continuous build environment (e.g. by Infrastructure-as-a-code) to accelerate infrastructure deployment, software development and deployment and converting them into continuous pipelines; - Support process automation initiatives including tool evaluation and solution architecture designs and lead the development and implementation of selected tools; - Analyse operational issues and support teams in resolving problems through process automation; - Act as the subject matter expert for the support of DevOps tools such as GitHub Enterprise, HashiCorp Vault and other DevOps tools related to Cloud platform operation such as Terraform and Ansible etc; - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements - University Degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines; - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in major financial institutions and with at least 5 years in an architect role; - Strong knowledge and experience in designing DevOps processes including the CI/CD pipelines; - Hands-on experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, GIT, Sonatype, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, ArgoCD etc; - Knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting skillset such as Python, NodeJS, Ruby, Golang, shell script etc; - Familiarity with emerging technologies such as cloud computing, distributed ledger technology and know-hows in other FinTech initiatives is preferable; - Ability to design innovative solutions, resolve conflicts and stay abreast of the latest technology landscapes and DevOps trends and best practices; - Good analytical, presentation, documentation and report writing skills; - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage; - Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
