This role is critical for managing the bank's enterprise storage, back-up infrastructure. This position demands more than just a technical acumen; it requires strategic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and a proactive attitude toward optimizing storage solutions and data integrity. Duties - Serve contract assignments under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to a leading bank; - Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the bank's infrastructure platforms, focusing on modernization, scalability, and cost-effectiveness; - Provide technical and direction to a team responsible for the 24/7 operation of critical platform services in align with Bank Standard; - Manage the lifecycle of all platform technologies, from procurement and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning; - Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure platform performance and reliability meet business needs; - Administer and support SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments; - Automate storage management tasks using scripting and other tools; - Ensure data integrity and security across storage platforms; - Perform data backup and recovery operations; - Optimize storage systems for efficiency and performance; - Develop and maintain documentation for storage procedures and configurations; - Manage the enterprise storage environment including provisioning, performance monitoring, replication, and disaster recovery strategies; - Enterprise Capacity Plan & Management: Provide well plan and effective capacity management to meet the Bank requirements; - Lead complex infrastructure projects, including platform upgrades, migrations, and cloud adoption initiatives; - Implement and enforce rigorous change, incident, and problem management processes for all platform services; - Ensure all infrastructure platforms comply with bank security policies, regulatory standards, and disaster recovery requirements; - Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to platform technologies. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; - Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure and storage area; - Proven hands-on expertise in storage, backup solution and different bands and models; - Relevant industry certifications like EMC, NetApp, or similar storage-related credentials; - Proficiency in storage management tools and software; - Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash; - Security & Compliance: A strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices and experience operating in a regulated environment; - Leadership & People Management: Excellent leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor, develop, and manage a high-performing technical team; - Strategic Planning: Ability to develop strategic roadmaps, manage budgets, and articulate technology plans to senior management; - Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and root-cause analysis skills for complex technical issues.
