Deploy and configure AI weather prediction models on domestic GPU systems. 2. Implement code migration and optimization to align with domestic GPU architectures. 3. Develop and maintain data post-processing pipelines for AI model outputs. 4. Develop verification platform and visualization portal for forecast comparison. 5. Perform model fine-tuning and validation to ensure forecast accuracy and timeliness. 6. Assist project team to coordinate with internal and external parties for system implementation. 7. Carry out SRAA, Acceptance Test and Reliability Test for the systems. 8. Prepare documentation for the systems, applications and tools developed. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 7.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements Mandatory Requirement: 1. Experience in system monitoring and administration of high-performance computing systems. 2. Proficiency in batch job submission, job scheduling, and resource management in high-performance computing environments. 3. Experience in server facility establishment, configuration, and management. 4. Proficiency in database programming and the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and testing, preferably for scientific or data-intensive applications. 5. Proficiency in programming languages including but not limited to Python, JavaScript, PHP, SQL/MySQL. 6. Proficiency in visualization of model data. Optional Requirement: 1. Knowledge in GPU-accelerated computing. 2. Experience in numerical modelling, preferably in meteorological science applications. 3. Experience in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) modelling, training, inference, and big data analytics. 4. Familiarity with tendering and procurement processes within government bureaus/departments. 5. Knowledge of C, C++, or Fortran programming languages, particularly for performance-critical or legacy scientific code adaptation. A criminal record check will be required, and the offer is subject to the criminal record check results. Technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 5 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 5 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ); . At least 5 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP); . At least 5 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 5 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 5 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 3 years' experience in batch job monitoring (BJM); . At least 3 years' experience in Geographic Information System (GIS); . At least 3 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS); . At least 2 years' experience in Data Modeling (DMO); . At least 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA); . 1 year's experience in C++ (C++) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1.25 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 6 months' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD); . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 7 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
