Taking part in all stages of system development life cycle, including feasibility study, systems analysis and design, procurement, programming, installation, system testing, user acceptance and deployments; 2. Facilitating and monitoring vendors and/or contractors for system maintenance, system support and implementation of enhancement; 3. System support and troubleshoot of IT application systems of Railways Branch (RB), including Safety and Security Coordinating Committee and Trackside Safety and Security Coordinating Committee Submission Approval System (STSAS), Railway Incident Management System (RIMS), Blockchain-based Record Management System (BRMS), etc.; and 4. Assisting ITDSD in project co-ordinations. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; A. To conduct system design, system enhancement, system interfacing among the RIMS, STSAS, BRMS, etc; B. Migrate legacy Windows Servers for IT application systems of RB; C. To provide technical support, system integration, managing, maintaining, administering and deploying services for RIMS, STSAS and BRMS; D. Assist to conduct SRAA and fix security vulnerabilities of IT application systems; E. To monitor the performance of contractors; F. To ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet quality standard; G. To prepare and conduct system testing and user acceptance of enhancements and fixes; H. To provide application support services such as liaison with users and contractors, monitoring, repairing, recovering application systems, generating management and operation reports, training and helpdesk support to EMSD users; and I. To update system documents, operation procedures, system configuration documents, drill plans, contingency plans, technical reports, user manuals etc. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements i) Degree or Higher diploma in computer subjects or related disciplines ii) 4 years or above solid IT application/system development experience iii) Knowledge and solid experience in systems design and business analysis iv) Knowledge and solid experience in the implementation of workflow systems v) Knowledge and solid experience in the system maintenance involving Web Services and systems interfacing vi) Good knowledge of operating system/platforms (Windows, Linus, VMware) vii) Knowledge and solid experience in Blockchain and Kubernetes system viii) Solid experience in web server systems using JavaScript, C# .NET, AngularJS, React.js, Node.js, REST API, JSON, SQL Server, MongoDB ix) Experience in web application deployment procedures, source code version control software (e.g. Git) is preferred. x) Strong commitment to project deadline and delivering high quality work xi) Creative, analytical, self-initiative, responsible, well-organized and work independently on complex tasks Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 1 year's experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 1 year's experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 1 year's experience in .NET C# (NEC); . 4 years' experience in SSADM (SDM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Document Flow/Workflow Management System (DOC) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in software testing (STM); . At least 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS); . 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
