Job Key No 38726 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 59164-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 01 Apr 2026 Contract Period 01 Jun 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (8 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Admiralty Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) - To provide Web and Application Servers support for all mid-range systems in the Force; - To provide database support for all mid-range systems in the Force; Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF; - Responsible for design, implementation, configuration, administration and support of web and application servers for all the mission-critical mid-range systems; - Responsible for design, implementation, configuration, administration and support of database system for all the mission-critical mid-range systems; - To provide technical advice and conduct the system migration of web and application servers and database platform; - To liaise with users and contractors in web applications and database systems for the implementation under AIX / Linux platform; - To provide 1st tier support on mission-critical mid-range systems on a roster basis; - To provide ad-hoc support and handle production incident for the above systems in a timely manner; - To perform regular patching for the above systems; - To provide technical advice to project teams; and - To provide other services when required. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 4.0 Requirements - Solid knowledge and experience in design, implementation, performance tuning/troubleshooting of database systems including Oracle, MariaDB, Sybase and OceanBase database are required; - Solid knowledge and experience in design, implementation, performance tuning/troubleshooting of web application systems including WebSphere, JBoss and Tong Web are required; - Solid knowledge and experience in technical analysis, design, implementation, maintenance and support of government mission-critical database and web application systems are required; - Experience in supervising junior staff is required; - Proficient in cloud container management platform is required; (Security vetting is required before candidate reports for duty) Technical Skills: . At least 9 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 9 years' experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS); . At least 7 years' experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS); . At least 7 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 7 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . At least 7 years' experience in Sybase (SYB). Non-technical Skills: . At least 9 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in vendor management (VMG). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
