| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF;
- To support the Force's mission-critical systems and related hardware and software installation and configuration;
- To provide support for the web application server and middleware platform of all the mid-range systems;
- To provide 1st tier support on mission-critical mid-range systems on a roster basis;
- To provide ad-hoc support and handle production incident for the above systems in a timely manner;
- To perform regular patching for the above systems during non-office hours;
- To provide technical advice to project teams; and
- To provide other services when required.

| Requirements |
- Knowledge and experience in Linux system support are required;
- Knowledge and experience in the middleware system support are required;
- Knowledge and experience in web application system support are required;
- Knowledge and experience in the implementation of Websphere Application Server, middleware platform including JBoss and TongWeb are required.
- Good command of both written and spoken English are required;
(Security vetting is required before candidate reports for duty)
Technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 3 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 1 year's experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS);
. At least 1 year's experience in JBoss Application Server (JAS).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 3 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO);
. At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
