| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF;
- To provide support for the Force's mission-critical systems and related hardware and software;
- To provide support for the database of all the mid-range systems.
- To provide 1st tier support on mission-critical mid-range systems on a roster basis;
- To provide ad-hoc support and handle production incident for the above systems in a timely manner;
- To perform regular patching for the above systems during non-office hours;
- To provide technical advice to project teams; and
- To provide other services when required.

| Requirements |
- Solid knowledge and experience in the implementation and support of database systems including Oracle, MariaDB and OceanBase database are required;
- Solid knowledge and experience in the support of AIX Unix, Red Hat Linux servers and Kylin Linux servers;
- Knowledge in technical support on backup solution is an advantage;
(Security vetting is required before candidate reports for duty)
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 5 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN);
. At least 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 2 years' experience in UNIX (UNX).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in vendor management (VMG).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
