(T26) To support the CSD study officers in conducting general management consultancy studies, analyzing the current situations, conducting data/management analysis for the Information and Communications Technology systems, identifying improvement areas and conducting market research, etc. from both business and technical aspects.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF;
To support CSD in provision of management consultancy services with a view to supporting the mission of the Information Systems Wing to provide secure, effective and efficient information and communications technology services/systems to all Force members.

| Requirements |
Must have :
- good analytical skills
- knowledge and experience in business data and systems analysis
- good command of written and spoken English
- work experience with/in the Government
- good understanding of funding mechanisms for ICT projects
Priority will be given to candidates with business knowledge in areas related to procurement of IT systems/equipment, Resource Allocation Exercise submission in the department, knowledge or experience in ideation techniques for problem solving business process re-engineering for ICT adoption, and technology application in law enforcement.
Security vetting is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in Information System Study (ISS);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. 6 months' experience in Infrastructure (INF) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Multimedia (MUL) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Wireless/mobile Email solution (WME) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Good coordination skills is a must;
. At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Excellent spoken English is a must;
. Excellent written English is a must;
. At least 1 year's experience in Business Process Re-engineering (BPE);
. 6 months' experience in negotiation (NEG) is an advantage;
. 6 months' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 15 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
