Job Key No 38697 Job Title/ Category Contract Programmer (Bid Ref 59134-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 31 Mar 2026 Contract Period 01 May 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (9 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Sheung Wan, Central, Admiralty and Wanchai Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) (a) Implement the project for rollout of new email system (b) Windows client deployment and software support (c) Perform patch installation, helpdesk support services and IT inventory stocktaking Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ; (a) Provide technical support and administration of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 2021; (b) Conduct network and system testing; (c) Conduct application testing and user acceptance; (d) Perform rollout of Windows 10 and email system; (e) Perform technical support and system maintenance tasks including software installation, configuration setting, tuning, troubleshooting, fire-fighting, problem handling, health check, backup and recovery; (f) Provide support to the helpdesk support staff and end users; (g) Diagnose problems of installed hardware / software and arrange for follow-up action with software vendor(s) and DPO as appropriate; (h) Assist in testing new hardware and software products; and (i) Perform any other duties (e.g. on-call duty during weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements Experience in providing user support to OpenText eDOCs Document Management version 23 is a definite advantage. The successful candidate may need to work in different offices of the Department at various locations including Sheung Wan, Wanchai, Central, Admiralty and magistracy courts in Hong Kong, Kowloon and New Territories. There may be occasions that the successful candidate will be asked to perform duties during weekends. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10); . At least 1 year's experience in Networking (NET); . At least 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS). Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . Good written English is a must. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
