Job Key No 38644 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 59166-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 27 Mar 2026 Contract Period 01 Apr 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (10 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base North Point Government Offices and other Government offices Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Development and maintenance of 3D Digital Map Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LandsD; - To design, develop, deploy, maintain, and improve a large-scale 3D geospatial data repository and related applications; - To manage the data lifecycle for 3D geospatial data, including data collection and organization, versioning, quality control, metadata enhancement, and long-term storage; - To develop tools and applications for data transformation, conversion, integration, validation and visualisation; - To assist in R&D and to adopt new technologies for 3D geospatial data management; - To coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on data requirements, project schedules, and issue resolution; - To prepare technical documentation for the proposed and/or developed applications; - To perform any other GIS or IT-related duties as assigned by supervisors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Holder of a degree awarded by a university in Hong Kong or a degree awarded by an overseas education institution to a Hong Kong resident, or equivalent; - The degree shall be related to Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Computer Networking, Information Engineering, Information Technology, Geo-informatics, Geomatics Engineering, Geographic Information Science, or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in IT development with direct focus on developing and implementing web applications and database; - Practical working experience in at least 3 of the following areas: NodeJS, python, database administration, SQL/NoSQL programming, container-based development, web services protocols/interfaces (e.g. SOAP, REST, WMS, WFS), HTML5; - GIS knowledge, such as OGC standards, 3D modelling techniques, geospatial processing and programming, is preferred; - Experience in web-based GIS application development such as OpenLayers/ CesiumJS/ ArcGIS API is preferable; - Possess analytical sense, strong problem-solving skills and a good team player; - Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English. Technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 4 years' experience in Data Management (DMT); . At least 4 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 4 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 4 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . 3 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in .NET C# (NEC) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design (OOA) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in SSADM (SDM) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
