Duties include system administration, system analysis and design, programming, user operations, testing, user training, capacity planning, performance monitoring, etc. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FSD; 1. To perform daily system administration tasks and maintain LIFIPS user profiles; 2. To provide technical and operational supports to users of LIFIPS and other departmental application systems; 3. To prepare and update operation and system manuals, and conduct training for LIFIPS users; 4. To develop SQL scripts for ad-hoc report generation and data extraction; 5. To assist in system maintenance, performance monitoring and fine tuning of the system; 6. To work with ICT staff, contractors and users on the development of Building Fire Safety Database and File Management System, including assisting in system design, testing and perform user acceptance test, and preparation of technical specifications and tender documents; 7. To be able to work under pressure, willing to work overtime if required; To work on other ICT related duties as required. 8. The Relevant Employee shall provide on-call technical support duties and perform overtime work, including work outside of normal office hours, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as and when necessary and upon the request of the Government Representative. At least 4 years&;#8217; working experience with 3 years&;#8217; relevant working experience in application development projects; 2. At least 3 years&;#8217; working experience in SQL database management and SQL script development; 3. Working experience in using Oracle database and SQL developer tools is preferable; and 4. Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with ability to conduct root-cause analysis and propose effective fixes; 5. Good communication skills and ability to work with business users and technical teams; 6. Good written English and Chinese; and 7. Security vetting is required. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ); . At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 2 years' experience in HTML version before HTML5 (HTM); . At least 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in C++ (C++); . At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . 2 years' experience in Microsoft Active Server Page Scripting (ASP) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in SQL*PLUS/PL/SQL/PRO*C (OPL) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Good coordination skills is a must; . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG); . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
