This post is responsible for the daily operational support, system upgrade and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint farm infrastructure and its portals, including EMSD Intranet and divisional homepages, Knowledge Community Portal (KCP), Project Administration Handbook (PAH) and other theme-based portals. The candidate would provide feasibility study, user requirement definition, system analysis and design, application development and enhancement, coding, documentation, report generation, testing, user training, maintenance and system upgrade due to the end-of-support of EMSD Microsoft SharePoint farm infrastructure. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the E&MSD; a. To provide daily operational support, system upgrade and maintenance of Microsoft SharePoint farm infrastructure, and its portals, including EMSD Intranet and divisional homepages, Knowledge Community Portal (KCP), Project Administration Handbook (PAH) and other theme-based portals; and b. To assist the ITSS Web Team in carrying out the feasibility study, system analysis and design, programming, implementation, database design, performance tuning, documentation, report generation, testing, system nursing, maintenance, backup and restore of divisional intranet and its relevant application; and c. To perform contract management of upgrade of Microsoft SharePoint farm infrastructure; and d. To carry out the feasibility study, user requirement definition, system analysis and design, application development and enhancement, coding, documentation, report generation, testing, user training, maintenance, project management to EMSD Intranet revamp project due to the end of support of Microsoft SharePoint. e. Manage incident of system issues, deploy security patches, prepare incident reports, escalate to relevant parties promptly and follow through the case/incidents; f. Manage maintenance contracts and service subscriptions, and ensure timely renewal of services and contracts; g. Ensure compliance to application, network and security policies, processes and standards; h. To evaluate and inspect/review hardware, software, and prepare technical proposals of IT equipment and services for intranet enhancement, upgrade of Microsoft SharePoint farm infrastructure and the Intranets; i. To provide application support services such as liaison with users and vendors, monitoring, repairing, recovering application systems, training and helpdesk support to users and contractors; j. To update system design documents, operation procedures, system configuration documents, drill plans, contingency plans, technical reports, user manuals etc.; k. To ensure project deliverables to be on time and meet the quality standard; l. To monitor the performance of his/her subordinates; and m. To manage and monitor the schedule and performance of project vendors Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 9.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements a. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; b. At least 9 years of relevant post-qualification working experience in IT; c. At least 3 years of working experience as a System Analyst; d. Well-versed in Microsoft SharePoint administration and application development; e. Knowledge in SharePoint libraries, lists, pages, taxonomy, term sets, content types, workflows, forms; f. Experience in knowledge management projects and Intranet projects; g. Experience in Microsoft .Net and Microsoft SQL Server; h. Experience in Microsoft System Center Operation Manager and Data Protection Manager; i. Experience in F5 load balancer; j. Ability to train and communicate with non-technical users on SharePoint features and functions; k. Strong commitment to the project deadline, deliver high-quality work, and able to adjust work priorities; l. Creative, self-initiative, responsible, well-organized, and work independently on complex tasks; and m. Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) / Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) / Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) / Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SharePoint Technologies is a must. n. Experience and knowledge in web programming, hosting, design and maintenance of intranet websites is a plus. Technical Skills: . At least 9 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 6 years' experience in Microsoft Officer SharePoint Server Administration (MSP); . At least 4 years' experience in Knowledge Management Technology (KMT); . At least 3 years' experience in LDAP Application Programming (LDA); . At least 3 years' experience in Departmental Portal (DPS); . At least 3 years' experience in Proxy Server (PRS); . 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 8 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 6 months' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in shift work (SFT) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 9 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
