(T26) To provide IT support on the site preparation and implementation for the new control point establishment of the Immigration Control Systems (ICONS)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
(a) To provide IT support on the site preparation works and the infrastructure implementation of ICONS at Lok Ma Chau Loop (LMC Loop);
(b) To provide IT support in User Acceptance Test (UAT) of the system implementation of ICONS at (LMC Loop);
(c) To provide IT support for the security risk assessment and audit of the implementation of ICONS at new control points;
(d) To perform diagnosis with the contractors on technical issues and monitor the progress of remedial actions;
(e) To review project deliverables and monitor the performance of the contractors; and
(f) To perform other duties required for meeting the department's business need.

| Requirements |
- Solid experience in site preparation and networking design;
- Experience in Windows and AIX platform;
- Good knowledge in IT security and networking;
- The Contract staff is required to take up on-call duty;
- The Contract Staff will normally work at the ImmD offices in Tseung Kwan O, and occasionally provide support at various Immigration control points and offices;
- The Contract Staff will have to work outside normal office hours occasionally to meet the operational needs; and
- Criminal record check is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 2 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Network Design (NDN).
Non-technical Skill:
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
