Job Key No 38609 Job Title/ Category Contract Programmer (Bid Ref 59036-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 25 Mar 2026 Contract Period 01 May 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (9 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base West Kowloon Government Offices (Yau Tsim Mong) Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Management and maintenance of 1) HKeMobility (HKeM) - A mobile app and website providing route searches (public transport, driving, walking) and real-time traffic and transport information; 2) Reprovisioning HKeM core app functions to the 'iAMSmart' Mini-programme and converting the HKeM APP coding from Native App to a unified framework; 3) HKeM API - Application Programming Interfaces for information enquiry and route searching for public transport, driving, walking and cycling for government department; 4) Pedestrian Walking Information System (PWIS) - A GIS system that integrates 3D Pedestrian Network of Lands Department and information on pedestrian facilities to provide walking route search service to HKeM website and mobile application and HKeM 'iAMSmart'; and 5) Cycling Route Search Service (CRSS) - A GIS system integrates TD's cycling network data and information on cycling facilities to provide cycling route search service to HKeM website and mobile app and HKeM 'iAMSma Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD; 1) Provide hands on support on web and mobile application development and testing; 2) Develop web and mobile application with integration of new technology and third parties' web services; 3) Support to develop and test application programming interfaces for multi-modal route searching services; 4) Provide technical support for TD's open API and open data; and 5) Conduct user acceptance testing, user management and system administration works on IT projects. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1) Experience in web programming by using software frameworks, such as NodeJS and VueJS; 2) Experience in web services configuration on cloud computing platforms including server virtualization, platform-as-a-service, software-as-a-service and preferably hands on experience on Containerization; 3) Experience in handling and support on open data format; 4) Experience in application testing and using of application testing tools, such as Appium, with scripting and codeless test automation; 5) Experience on mobile application development on iOS, Android, Huawei HMS or HarmonyOS platforms by using mobile programming languages (Swift, Kotlin and/or Java) and technology, and software deployment by Docker and managing Containers with Kubernetes; 6) Experience on web application development by using programming languages (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS); 7) Knowledge in using Apple or Android software development tool, web map service, SQL programming including MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Azure SQL or Relational Database Service(RDS); 8) Good communication skills; and 9) Good in Chinese and English writing skills. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 3 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 3 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . 3 years' experience in Experience in C# programming (C#P) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in .NET C# (NEC) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage; . 3 years' experience in Unified Modeling Language (UML) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in software testing (STM); . 6 months' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
