| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD;
1) To participate in IT equipment replacement programmes;
2) To prepare open tender or requirement specification for procurement of IT equipment/services;
3) To provide technical support for computers in department network;
4) To participate in the implementation of Electronic Submission Hub (ESH), Government Human Resources Management Services (GovHRMS) and Departmental Inventory System for the Transport Department;
5) To manage the existing Computer Inventory System, Computer Facilities Borrowing System, Software Asset Management System, Foxit Admin Console Server etc; and
6) To perform other duties assigned by SE/IT or his delegates.

| Requirements |
1) Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines;
2) Good knowledge in tasks listed in Job Description; and
3) Good knowledge of various Government standards.
4) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and
5) Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 6 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
. At least 4 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED);
. 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD);
. At least 4 years' experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP);
. At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 2 years' experience in tender preparation and administration (TPA).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
