Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD; 1) To provide administrative and project support to project manager and assist with planning and organizing projects by helping to scope requirements, budgets, schedules and resources; 2) To manage OA server rooms and maintain its normal operation including but not limited to system backup; 3) To carry out server support (backup and troubleshooting) and maintenance to OA servers; 4) To manage and administer Windows Servers; 5) To manage, support and system/firmware upgrade of VM ESX Servers, server/storage/SAN Switches; 6) To manage, maintain of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure solution; 7) To assist in procurement of IT equipment/services; 8) To assist project manager to oversee the CMMP implementation; 9) To assist project manager in system analysis & design and implementation of IT solutions; 10) To perform other duties assigned by SE/IT1 or his delegates. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 8.0 Requirements 1) Holder of Hong Kong degree or equivalent; 2) Holder of VMware VCP Data Center Virtualization 2023 and Network Virtualization 2021; 3) Solid experience in VMware, vCloud Foundation, Veeam Backup and Replication, CA BightStor ARCserve, Backup Exec, UPS configuration in HKSARG is preferred; 4) Solid experience in NSX, SAN, VSAN, VLAN, thin-client, virtualisation backup, deduplication backup, Citrix Virtual Desktop, room-based UPS setup; 5) Solid experience in server room design and building services; 6) Good knowledge in server room equipment health checking and maintenance; 7) Experience in running project in PRINCE2; 8) Solid experience in government procurement procedures; 9) Good communication skill, particularly on call service is an advantage; 10) Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Technical Skills: . At least 8 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN); . At least 8 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 8 years' experience in Veritas Backup Exec (VBE); . At least 8 years' experience in Virtual LAN/LAN Switching (VLS); . At least 8 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12). Non-technical Skills: . At least 8 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 5 years' experience in IT procurement (PRO); . At least 4 years' experience in site preparation (SPE); . At least 4 years' experience in project management (PRM). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 8 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
