Provide daily IT technical support in network services and security including system administration, configuration and operational management; 2. Responsible for Network design, implementation and management of enterprise network infrastructure and services (Firewall appliances, network routers/switches, wireless network, GNET connection, VPN Gateway and 4G/5G mobile data network); 3. Facilitate IT projects to adopt the appropriate network and infrastructure resources, particularly with a VPS setup environment; 4. Assist in IT strategic planning and recommend approach in technology direction on network infrastructure, security and business continuity; 5. Deployment of best practices and formulate network management policies, standards and procedures; 6. Implement cost controls and performance monitoring for all acquired data communication services and facilities; and 7. Provide ad-hoc infrastructure support Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 5.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements 1. Holder of University degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Subjects, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent; 2. At least five years post-qualification IT experience of which three years must be in a similar post and in a comparable capacity to this vacancy; 3. Proficiency in both spoken and written Cantonese and English 4. Well versed with IT Infrastructure development, Network & System Management 5. Knowledgeable in Network Resilience, OSPF, BGP, VLAN Management and VPN Gateway; 6. Previous experience in the development of high availability network and performance monitoring platform; 7. Practical experience in adopting the Fortigate, Cacti, Nagios, Cisco Works or similar solutions. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN); . At least 2 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU); . At least 2 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED). Non-technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV); . 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
