Job Key No 38575 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 59023-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Application Development Nature Contract Deadline 24 Mar 2026 Contract Period 01 Apr 2026 to 30 Jun 2026 (2 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Kowloon or Tsuen Wan Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System Development, Implementation and Maintenance Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH; (a) To liaise with business users, and consultants for new user requirements collection, handling business users enquiries, troubleshoot and develop new Continuing Professions Development (CPD) sub-system for the Healthcare Professions Information System (HPIS); (b) To lead programmers in developing the CPD subsystem using modern technologies such as React, Express.js, Java and MariaDB; (c) To analyse, design, develop, deploy and enhance the CPD subsystem on the Linux infrastructure with Government Cloud Infrastructure Service (GCIS) and its system interfaces to other DH systems or DPO services; (d) To assist project manager in carrying out various IT project activities including: (i) response to Boards and Councils Office (B&CO) end-user enquires (ii) system design report and application user manual preparation (iii) system software installation and server configuration (e) To assist in procurement exercise of IT equipment and to arrange maintenance renewals; (f) To conduct on-site briefing session/demonstrations on new system enhancements; (g) To perform on-site/off-site troubleshoot and diagnose problems; (h) To make effective use of modern integrated development environments (IDEs), such as Visual Studio Code, and AI-assisted coding tools (for example, GitHub Copilot) to improve code quality, enhance productivity, and support rapid application development and maintenance; (i) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers; (j) To work overtime as required to meet project schedules and deadlines; and (k) Normal working hours: Mon, 9:00 - 18:00; Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45 Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (a) Proficient in application development and implementation using programming languages and development environments, such as HTML5, React, Node.js, Java, Java Servlet, Spring Boot, Apache, WildFly, MariaDB, MySQL, Windows Servers, Linux, and Shell Scripting; (b) Experienced with operating systems such as Windows and Linux; and (c) Knowledge and experience in systems analysis and design, and development and monitoring applications running on EGIS/GCIS Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 2 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP); . At least 2 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 1 year's experience in EGIS (EGI); . 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SAA) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 3 years' experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG); . 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
