(T26) To analyze, design, implement and support IT systems in Government Fleet Division (GFD) of the Marine Department (MD)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the MD;
To assist IT Management of the Government Fleet Division (GFD) to lead 1 2 CAP, 1 CP, 1 CSITA to perform the system design, development, maintenance, testing, documentation and support for IT systems in GFD, including the following duties:
- Act as a system analyst to perform system analysis and design, development, maintenance and supports for the Crew Member Management System (CMMS) with crew member management, e-Circular and e-Log Book modules and Dry Berth Docking Planning System (DBDPS), and IT project of GFD.
- Act as a business analyst and assist IT Management of GFD to perform the elicitation and analysis of business requirements for supporting the system enhancement as well as on-going maintenance and support of the Government Fleet Information System (GFIS) and its mobile application
- Assist the setup of mobile workstations for government vessels
- Conduct quality assurance and system testing
- Prepare and maintain system documentation
- Perform any other duties assigned by IT management of the GFD

| Requirements |
- Experience in SPRING framework will be advantageous
- Experience in Vessel Management system will be advantageous
- Experience in Staff and Roster management systems will be advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Preferably with experience with team leading / supervision
Technical Skills:
. At least 10 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS);
. At least 10 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
. At least 10 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ);
. At least 8 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS);
. At least 8 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 8 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 8 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
