(T26) To manage and coordinate the system implementation and enhancement of Immigration Control System (ICONS) and Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) of the Immigration Department (ImmD)

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
(a) To oversee the implementation of ICONS at Lok Ma Chau Loop (LMC Loop) and the system enhancement of email system and IT security solutions for ICONS and APIS;
(b) To co-ordinate with project teams and contractors and lead the development team for the enhancement of ICONS and APIS;
(c) To manage and coordinate with the contractors, other government departments as well as other parties concerned for the enhancement of ICONS and APIS;
(d) To conduct quality assurance and manage the performance of contractors; and
(e) To perform other duties required for meeting the department's strategies and business needs.

| Requirements |
- Strong experience in implementation and support for mission critical systems;
- Strong experience in managing IT systems and outsource contractors;
- Strong experience in project coordination and management;
- Strong knowledge of IT security principles;
- Strong experience in implementing or supporting email systems based on HCL Domino/Notes and/or Microsoft Exchange/Outlook is preferred;
- Strong experience in IT security solution implementation (e.g. Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), etc) is preferred;
- Professional certifications in IT security, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Professional (CISP), or equivalent will be an advantage;
- Good knowledge in mobile application development lifecycle;
- The Contract Staff will normally work at the ImmD offices in Tseung Kwan O, and occasionally provide support at various Immigration control points and offices;
- The Contract Staff will have to work outside normal office hours occasionally to meet the operational needs; and
- Criminal record check is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 6 years' experience in IT Security (ITS);
. At least 6 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM).
Non-technical Skills:
. Good coordination skills is a must;
. At least 5 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
. At least 5 years' experience in project management (PRM).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
