(T26) System Maintenance & Support of a Government Internal Email System

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
- Taking part in implementation, maintenance, and testing on system changes/enhancements of the email system and its system interface with other central services, and systems in other Bureaux/Departments (B/Ds).
- Taking part in maintenance and support of the email system and backup infrastructure of the CMMP.
- Assisting the supervisor to manage the overall system availability and conducting project management tasks.
- Managing the physical appliances and equipment located in data centres.
- Following up with respective stakeholders to solve the problems reported by clients proactively.
- Providing technical support for the project related matters.
- Assisting in planning the system maintenance events and carrying out system maintenance activities for on-going support of the system.
- Assisting in assuring and controlling of the quality of the project deliverables produced by the contractors/vendors.
- Providing daily administrative support and producing reports and deliverables meeting the internal standards and requirements of the project.
- Monitoring and reporting system usage and healthiness.
- Providing liaison and support to different stakeholders, and other B/Ds on the system.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking and energetic.
- Working outside office hours and providing on-call production support.
- Performing any work assigned by supervisor.

| Requirements |
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification IT experience, in which includes a minimum of 1 year of working experience in system implementation and maintenance/support.
- Minimum of 1 years of working experience in administration of email system and backup infrastructure, system virtualization technology, hyper-converged infrastructure solutions and Microsoft Windows Server platform.
- Certificate(s) holder of backup solution(s).
- Working experience with/in HKSAR Government is preferred.
- Good command in spoken and written English is required.
- Good command in spoken Mandarin will be an advantage.
- Criminal record checking is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in System Backup Operation (BKO);
. At least 1 year's experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT);
. At least 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM).
Non-technical Skills:
. Good spoken English is a must;
. Good written English is a must;
. Good Putonghua is an advantage;
. Good coordination skills is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
