Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) Development, implementation and support of applications and systems in DSD. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DSD; (a) Conduct a thorough analysis of IT products and services and assist the team leader in preparing specifications for their acquisition; (b) Carry out system analysis and design, system implementation and integration, as well as ongoing support and maintenance for applications and systems; (c) Provide support for user acceptance testing and data conversion/ migration; (d) Deliver user training sessions on applications and systems; (e) Prepare comprehensive documentation and reports for applications and systems throughout their project duration and system lifecycle; (f) Address inquiries and concerns from business users; (g) Collaborate effectively with business users, IT teams, contractors, and stakeholders to fulfill the aforementioned responsibilities. (h) Oversee the participation of programmer staff (and placement, if applicable) in completing the aforementioned duties and ensure the quality of their deliverables within the designated timeframe; (i) Adhere to relevant regulations, standards, policies, and guidelines set by the Government of HKSAR; and (j) Utilize applicable best practices, standards, and guidelines from the IT industry and product vendors. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 11.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 7.0 Requirements 1. Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; 2. Have achieved at least one of the following qualifications: (a) Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) before 2007 (b) Level 2 in English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth (c) Level 2 in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (d) Grade D in English Language in International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE)/ General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE)/ General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) (GCE O Level); 3. Demonstrate extensive expertise in systems analysis and design (SA&D), system development and implementation, testing, and ongoing support in web-based applications; 4. Exhibit strong proficiency in relational database software products such as Oracle 19 or newer, SQL Server 2019 or newer, etc.; 5. Showcase substantial experience in SA&D specifically for web-based applications; 6. Possess substantial experience in web-based programming utilizing Java and Python; 7. Demonstrate practical experience in system development and implementation using all the following programming languages: Java, Python 3 (or newer), PHP 5 (or newer), HTML 5, and Javascript; 8. Previous practical experience with Django is necessary; 9. It is preferable to have experience in Bootstrap, IntelliJ IDEA, PyCharm, or PHPStorm; and 10. It is preferable to have experience in agile development. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV); . At least 4 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 3 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL); . At least 3 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 3 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS); . At least 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . At least 2 years' experience in Production Database Support (PDS); . At least 2 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5); . At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP); . At least 2 years' experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services (MIS); . At least 1 year's experience in MySQL (MSQ); . At least 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP). Non-technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . Good written English is a must. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 11 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 7 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
