Yes. The candidate shall normally station at ImmD&;#8217;s HQs but shall be required to travel to various ImmD Branch Offices and Control Points including Shenzhen and Guangdong Province to provide on-site support (on same day return) where necessary. | Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
The CAP will be responsible for providing IT support and development for the implementation of computer projects and related system enhancements for IT systems of ImmD.
The key duties are listed as follows:
(a) To support the system changes of existing systems;
(b) To carry out programming development, testing and system operation support as designated by the systems analysts on enhancements of APPLIES-2;
(c) To monitor contractor&;#8217;s work at various ImmD offices and data centers to facilitate business operation;
(d) To coordinate with related stakeholders and provide technical support for the site preparation, system enhancement, system support and on-site IT activities;
(e) To provide 7x24 on-call support for APPLIES-2; and
(f) To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.

| Requirements |
(i) Good programming skill;
(ii) Good communication and customer service skill;
(iii) Good system troubleshooting skill;
(iv) Solid experience in providing technical support on IT infrastructure, site preparation and system implementation of mission critical system; and
(v) Criminal record check is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in IBM AIX Unix (IBX);
. At least 1 year's experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
. At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
