Project Nature (T26) - To setup and maintain IT facilities for Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB);
- To provide system support services for users, maintain daily IT operations and perform system program changes;
- To upgrade firewall and network equipment;
- To replace obsoleted PCs and notebooks.
Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
- To provide IT support service in CSTB, which includes central network monitoring, VPN and Wireless Network trouble shooting, etc. so that all users in CSTB could carry out their duties smoothly by using the network infrastructure;
- To provide network support service in remote offices of CSTB;
- To operate and maintain computer systems and network devices;
- To install hardware, software and security patches/updates to systems and network devices;
- To perform daily health checks of computer systems, servers and network devices;
- To assist in the setup and maintenance of IT facilities for CSTB;
- To assist in the upgrade of firewall and network equipment;
- To assist in the relocation projects for existing remote offices;
- To assist in the replacement of obsoleted PCs.

Requirements The service required of the ITA is as follows:-
- Strong knowledge in Government Office Automation (GOA), including Outlook Mail System and mobile services;
- Solid experience in providing support service that covers Government systems and services, including hardware, software, applications, packages, communication lines and equipment;
- Experience in providing LAN administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, support services and ad-hoc services to users to ensure network services and systems are reliable and in satisfactory operations to meet service level requirements;
- Communication skills in dealing with users.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
. At least 2 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM);
. 1 year's experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Networking (NET) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Remote Access Server (RAS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Virtual Private Network (VPN) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in customer service (CLS);
. At least 2 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT);
. 1 year's experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage.
- At least Level 2 or above in 5 subjects including Chinese and English Language in HKDSEE or Grade E or above in 5 subjects, including Chinese and English Language (Syl B) in HKCEE or equivalent;
- At least 2 years'relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
