(T26) To provide IT advice on the system infrastructure security upgrade of the iAM Smart Checking System as well as production support for the iAM Smart Checking System and other administrative systems.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ImmD;
The staff will be assigned to the project team for providing IT advice on the system infrastructure security upgrade of the iAM Smart Checking System as well as production support for iAM Smart Checking System and other administrative systems. Tasks include:
(a) to provide professional IT advice on system infrastructure design, site preparation, infrastructure setup, performance tuning and data migration for the system infrastructure security upgrade of the iAM Smart Checking System;
(b) to support system testing and production rollout of the system infrastructure security upgrade of the iAM Smart Checking System;
(c) to provide technical support for problem diagnosis of production issues related to the iAM Smart Checking System and other administrative systems;
(d) to take up round-the-clock on-call duty and on-site technical support for the iAM Smart Checking System and other administrative systems; and
(e) to perform any other duties as may be required for meeting the department's business needs.

| Requirements |
The CSA should possess experience in providing technical support on mission critical system and system implementation. The CSA should be able to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills.
The CSA will normally work in the ImmD HQs at Tseung Kwan O. Also, the CSA will be occasionally required to provide support at various Immigration offices and work outside office hours.
Criminal record check is required.
Technical Skills:
. At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
. At least 4 years' experience in IBM AIX Unix (IBX);
. At least 4 years' experience in Linux System Administration (LIN).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. At least 1 year's experience in site preparation (SPE).
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
