Job Key No 37641 Job Title/ Category Senior Architect (Cloud Architecture) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Technical Support Nature Permanent Contract Period Employer Business financial institution Location Base Hong Kong Work Outside Current Location N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Duties - Serve a permanent position to a financial institution; - Act as cloud and solution architect to manage and develop the solution and architecture design for the cloud platform based on the business requirements with the deepen study of technical features and security assessment, and with the consideration of the possible cloud solutions or new technologies offering from the existing cloud service provider and in the market, solution compatibility and system integration, cloud security standards and operational efficiency, e.g. automation, optimisation of operational efforts, minimisation of the operational risk, etc. - Manage to develop the high-level design of the solutions and technical project plan with the project team, cloud/solution vendors and IT stakeholders, and responsible for Bill of Materials for project budget and procurement purpose; - Manage, oversee and support the solutions technical deployment and low-level design development, ensure the deployed technical setup is aligned with the solutions design with proper documentations for the handover to the operation team. Ensure the designs in place meet the defined design principles and related compliance requirement such as ISO27001 and CSTAR; - Perform regular review on existing cloud platform design and architecture, identify improvement plan to strengthen the operation efficiency, enhance the performance and security posture; - Provide expert advice on the adoption of new technologies, including cloud computing and related platform component integration from technical and risk aspects to support the company’s continuous growth and business development. Also develop the related Cloud Platform roadmap; - Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 10.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 10.0 Requirements - University degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline. - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably gained from financial institutions. - Solid experience with advanced troubleshooting skill in cloud infrastructure and container platform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud management platform, cloud-native solutions its related cloud services integration, cloud security design. - Solid experience in technical project delivery such as requirement gathering, solution design, assist to build new solution and transit it to operation and production. - Knowledge on Kubernetes, Linux/Unix, Github Enterprise, Sonatype, Github Action, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Golang, shell script, ArgoCD, Hashicorp Vault and CICD pipeline etc. is preferred. - Familiar with ITSM process, IT governance framework and IT compliance standards in financial industry is preferred. - Ability to use analytical, innovative and structured approach to problem solving, with the sense for pragmatism, common sense and self-starter mentality. - Positive attitude and strong commitment to the delivery of quality work. - Good presentation, documentation and report writing skills. - Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua an advantage. - Candidate with less experience will be considered for more junior position.
