Job Key No 37238 Job Title/ Category Contract Systems Analyst (Bid Ref 57782-2) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 26 Mar 2026 Contract Period 06 May 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (8 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base Mainly Nam Cheong, Sham Shui Po, and occasional visit to other offices in Hong Kong Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System Maintenance & Support of a Government Internal Email System Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; - Participate in the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of system changes/enhancements for the email system and its interfaces with other internal and/or central services, and systems in other bureaux/departments (B/Ds). - Review and improve the existing Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, Domain Name System (DNS), and associated platforms. Provide support, testing, and monitoring of AD services, DNS services, server clustering, Distributed File System (DFS), and requisite services adhering to best practices. - Develop and execute automation tools using PowerShell and other scripts for daily support activities. - Perform daily system operations tasks across multiple AD forests/domains to verify system integrity and availability. Conduct ongoing performance tuning of Directory Services, upgrades, and resource optimisation. - Utilise self-developed and/or off-the-shelf tools to monitor AD and Windows-based servers. Respond to alarms promptly to prevent client impact and performance degradation. - Maintain strong knowledge in security, core networking and DNS principles. - Advise, deploy, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) at an enterprise level. - Deploy, setup, and maintain testing environments. - Utilise self-developed and/or off-the-self tools to monitor AD and Windows-based servers. - Assist in IT project management and vendor management. Provide daily administrative support, prepare deliverables meeting internal standards and project requirements, and liaise with different stakeholders. - Work outside office hours and provide on-call production support. Promote and maintain server patch management practices. Liaise with Bureaux/Departments on production setup, client rollout, and issue resolution. - Perform any work assigned by the supervisor. Demonstrate self-motivation, ability to work independently under pressure, multi-tasking, and energetic approach. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification IT experience, in which includes a minimum of 1 year of working experience in similar capacity. - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in system implementation, maintenance and support of enterprise level Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, GPOs, cross-AD forests/domains support. - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in management, implementation, support, and upgrade of Microsoft Active Directory. - Minimum of 4 years of hands-on working experience in implementation and support of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 and 2022. - Minimum of 1 year of working experience in implementation and support of security risk assessment and audit (SRAA). - Good command in spoken and written English is required. - Criminal record checking is required. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA); . At least 4 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF); . At least 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows Programming (WPG); . At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 1 year's experience in Security Risk Assessment (SRA); . At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS). Non-technical Skills: . Good spoken English is a must; . Good written English is a must; . Good coordination skills is an advantage; . Good Putonghua is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
