(T26) Application and operation support to the Automated Communication, Technical Information and Operations Network (ACTION) System of ArchSD.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the ArchSD;
Work with existing support team to provide Application maintenance and Operation support to the ACTION system, including but not limited to below areas:
- To perform enhancement and bug fixing on web-based system
- To provide operation support
- To perform testing on changes

| Requirements |
Candidates are required to have solid working experience in System Implementation and Maintenance Support under the following software platform or environment:
1) Apache Struts Framework
2) JavaScript Programming
3) Java Servlet Programming
4) Oracle RDBMS
5) XML
Experience in below software platform is advantage of the candidate:
1) IBM Websphere Application Server,
2) Linux Shell Scripting and
3) IBM Workload Scheduler (Tivoli)
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
. At least 2 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP);
. At least 2 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 1 year's experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
. At least 1 year's experience in XML (XML);
. 1 year's experience in Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. Good written English is a must;
. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
