(T26) System Development and Maintenance

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the LD;
- Perform Administration and maintenance works of servers, including patch update, server backup and restore, performance monitoring and assist in upgrading server;
- Provide technical advice on the design of Government Application System;
- Explore and design technical solutions for enhancement of Government Application System;
- Communicate and liaise with users and IT teams in respect of any rectification and enhancement works required for Government Application System;
- Assist in upgrading and migration of system/application, program improvement and debugging;
- Perform maintenance and updating work of mobile application;
- Assist in procurement exercise of IT related items, including preparing technical specifications and vetting the quotations received from contractor;
- Prepare ad hoc and routine reports and statistics; and
- Provide ad hoc support and handle miscellaneous IT duties.

| Requirements |
- Must have solid experience in Microsoft SQL Server
- Must have solid experience in VBA
- Must have experience in administration of Window Server 2012 or above
- Must have experience in virtualization technology
- Must have work experience in the Government
- Experience in SQL and Microsoft Access is highly desirable
- Experience in Office Automation and PC LAN Support is desirable
- Experience in Government Procurement Procedure is desirable
- Work experience in occupational safety and health is highly desirable
- Strong sense of analytical and problem-solving skills is preferred
- Interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English
- Written test may be required during the interview
Technical Skills:
. At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS);
. At least 4 years' experience in VBA (VBA);
. At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12);
. At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
. 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) is an advantage;
. 2 years' experience in Office Automation (OAN) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS) is an advantage.
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. 2 years' experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
