Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the TD; The job duties requirements of the service are as follows:- a) To be in charge of and monitor contractors for the on-going system maintenance support to servers of different hardware (blade server, shared disk storage, network devices) and operating system platforms (including Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMware); b) To monitor and handle operation support at data centers in production and disaster recovery (DR) sites; c) To liaise with contractors and vendors in deploying change requests, DR drill, preventive maintenance, capacity planning on application system and data centers; d) To evaluate impact on installation of software patches and updates; e) To co-ordinate with application support teams, users, contractors and vendors for proper scheduling of system installation and maintenance works; f) To provide first-line and second-line support in the operation tasks of application system; g) To oversee and monitor the facilities (e.g. cooling system, fire detection & suppression system, data centre monitoring, security, surveillance system, dual power supply & UPS, etc.) at data centers; and h) To supervise staff under his/her charge for the above tasks. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements 1) Solid knowledge and good technical skill in Unix, Windows Server edition 2012 and 2012 R2. 2) Experience on the operations of blade server, shared disk storage and network devices. 3) Good communication and skills, both written and verbal, in Chinese or English. 4) Good coordination skills in handling tasks with team members and other parties. 5) Good leadership skills in leading subordinates with different ranks. 6) Need to work in various office locations of TD. 7) May require to work in irregular hours. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in Experience in Datacentre Maintenance (DCM); . At least 3 years' experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT); . At least 3 years' experience in Storage Area Network (SAN); . At least 3 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT); . At least 3 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12). Non-technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 1 year's experience in project management (PRM); . 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
