Job Key No 36413 Job Title/ Category Contract Programmer (Bid Ref 56916-1) Number Of Vacancy 1 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 24 Dec 2025 Contract Period 27 Jan 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (12 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point and other locations as assigned Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) System development life cycle including implementation, development and on-going support of IT systems; Support of service delivery including multimedia and network support Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the CSBU; The Contract Programmer is mainly deployed to: (1) Perform activities related to the system development life cycle including design and implementation of training venue & facility management systems, training administration systems and e-learning systems; (2) Work closely with development teams to understand and translate project requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and mockups for iterations and revisions; (3) Provide technical support for public website and e-learning portal, including visual graphic design, development of webpages, packaging of web courses and creation of multi-media materials; (4) Conduct software testing for web programs and ensure compliance with user requirements and standards; (5) Provide technical setup and/or network support for training events, including setup and operations of audio-visual and computing equipment and conducting live-streaming, webinar hosting, photo and video shooting and audio recording; (6) Provide post-production photo and video editing, visual effects, sound editing, subtitling, media conversion, production of e-learning contents, digital training materials and web courses under a tight schedule; and (7) Provide research and technical support for trial and production runs of training and smart office facilities. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 2.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) Diploma holder or above in relevant disciplines of Information Technology or Multimedia from a Hong Kong polytechnic / polytechnic university or Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education / technical college / technical institute, or equivalent, and with at least 2 years&;#8217; relevant post qualification information technology experience, of which at least 1 year must be in a similar post or in a comparable capacity; (2) Full-time working experience of at least 2 years in web page development with UI designs using software tools such as HTML 5, CSS and Figma; (3) Full-time working experience of at least 3 years in production of visual graphic design and multi-media materials and post-production photo and video editing using multimedia production software such as Adobe Create Suite; (4) Full-time working experience of at least 1 year in creating digital content for e-learning platform and websites in the past 2 years counting from the application closing date; (5) Full-time working experience in training event technical support in video conferencing and webinar hosting technology, such as Zoom and VOOV; (6) Solid working experience of networking support; (7) Working experience in software testing and PC LAN support is preferred; (8) At least 1 year of full-time relevant working experience in/with the Government is preferred; (9) Good analytical and problem-solving skills; (10) Good interpersonal skills and a team player with good communication skills in Chinese and English; (11) Creative and innovative with aesthetic sense; and (12) Ability to work under tight schedule. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Adobe Illustrator (ADI); . At least 2 years' experience in Adobe Premiere (ADP); . At least 2 years' experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT); . At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB); . At least 1 year's experience in Networking (NET); . 2 years' experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage; . 2 years' experience in Multimedia (MUL) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in PC LAN Support (PLS) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage. Non-technical Skill: . At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV). - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
