Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; The candidate is required to: - Conduct a feasibility study to review all common services, including but not limited to electronic appraisal system, electronic procurement system, Q&A system, etc., for opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities; - Manage and oversee the enhancement of existing Common Services with AI features throughout the project life cycle; - Plan, organise and monitor contractors to complete the enhancement projects; - Promote the adoption of enhanced common services features to B/Ds; - Plan, coordinate and implement common services, including the electronic appraisal system for the DPO; - Review and evaluate emergent technologies, AI products and solutions of Chinese Mainland products for potential adoption in Government common services; - Provide professional technical advice and support to facilitate the adoption of AI in various projects; and - Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 11.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements The candidate is required to have: - Proven experience in implementing and managing large-scale government IT projects, particularly common service applications provided by the DPO; - Strong experience and good track records in managing and monitoring contractor performance, application development, and outsourced projects. Experience in managing Chinese Mainland contractors is preferred; - Extensive experience in liaising with and coordinating multiple parties involving both government departments and non-government organisations; - Professional knowledge of emerging and innovative technology, including but not limited to AI and big data; - Rich experience in evaluating I&T solutions and producing reports, summaries, project documents, etc; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and - Excellent written communication skills in both English and Chinese. Technical Skills: . At least 6 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM); . At least 5 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET); . At least 5 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI); . At least 5 years' experience in IT Operational Management (OPM); . 5 years' experience in Project Management Professional (PMP) (PMP) is an advantage; . 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage; . 4 years' experience in Knowledge Management Technology (KMT) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 5 years' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR); . At least 5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV); . At least 5 years' experience in managing Government projects (IEG); . 4 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT) is an advantage; . 4 years' experience in IT Service Management (SMG) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 11 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
