Job Key No 36394 Job Title/ Category Contract IT Assistant (shift duty) (shift duty) (Bid Ref 56837-1) Number Of Vacancy 6 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 22 Dec 2025 Contract Period 01 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (12 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base FSHQs Building, 1 Hong Chong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) To perform the duties of computer operator of the mobilising systems and GOA network Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FSD; (a) To monitor the healthiness and operation status of the Third Generation Mobilising System (TGMS) and GOA network; (b) To monitor the associated equipment according to prescribed standards and procedures; (c) To monitor and keep track of system faults; (d) To report and coordinate with the contractor on solutions of the reported faults; (e) To prepare routine jobs according to prescribed procedures and instructions; (f) To prepare statistics reports according to the prescribed procedures and schedules; (g) To prepare ad-hoc reports as required or instructed; (h) To provide first line helpdesk service to system users and perform associated helpdesk activities; (i) To carry out inspection and take recovery action to equipment according to prescribed procedures; (j) To fulfill logging and administrative reporting requirements and maintain access logging of server rooms; (k) To update and maintain inventory records of equipment, procedure manuals and documentation; and (l) To undertake any other duties as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 3.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 2.0 Requirements (i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or overseas equivalent; or Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or overseas equivalent; (ii) At least two (2) years&;#8217; experience in the control and operation of computer systems such as MVS, VME, UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS, NETWARE or helpdesk/computer network operation, or writing MS WINDOWS application system, or LAN administration, or PC/LAN support services; and (iii) Good written English & Chinese and spoken English & Chinese. Technical Skills: . At least 6 months' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 6 months' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS); . 6 months' experience in Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support (WNT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in Windows XP/2000/ME (WXP) is an advantage. - At least 3 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
