Job Key No 36393 Job Title/ Category Contract Senior IT Assistant (Bid Ref 56836-1) Number Of Vacancy 2 Relevant Field Others Nature Contract Deadline 22 Dec 2025 Contract Period 01 Feb 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (12 months) Payroll under InfoTech Employer Business Government T26 Contract Location Base FSHQs Building, 1 Hong Chong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon Work in Guangdong Province N/A Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) To perform the duties of computer operator of the mobilising systems and GOA network Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the FSD; (a) To assume the team leader of the CITA; (b) To monitor the healthiness and operation status of the mobilising systems and GOA network; (c) To prepare, review and update various reference manuals and procedures; (d) To conduct quality assurance on documentations, reports, fault reporting workflow and routine tasks performed by CITA; (e) To assist in preparing statistics and reports according to regular schedules; (f) To arrange and monitor regular inventory check and security control on equipment; (g) To provide training to CITA; (h) To review and enhance existing workflows and procedures; (i) To develop programs for enhancing, monitoring and automation of fault monitoring and work tasks; (j) To assist in monitoring maintenance tasks performed the contractors; and (k) To undertake any other duties as assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 5.0 Requirements (i) Level 2 or equivalent or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or overseas equivalent; or Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B before 2007), in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or overseas equivalent; (ii) At least five (5) years&;#8217; experience in the control and operation of computer systems such as MVS, VME, UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS, NETWARE or helpdesk/computer network operation, or writing MS WINDOWS application system, or LAN administration, or PC/LAN support services. (iii) Good written English & Chinese and spoken English & Chinese. Technical Skills: . At least 3 years' experience in batch job monitoring (BJM); . At least 3 years' experience in System Backup Operation (BKO); . At least 3 years' experience in VBA (VBA); . At least 3 years' experience in Veritas Backup Exec (VBE); . At least 3 years' experience in Windows XP/2000/ME (WXP); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows NT Server Administration & Network Support (WNT); . At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM); . At least 2 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS). Non-technical Skills: . 6 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 6 years' experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage; . 6 years' experience in shift work (SFT) is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in site preparation (SPE) is an advantage. - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
