Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; The required staff will take up support duties on event and programme management for Smart Lab, which typically includes: - to prepare write-ups such as speeches, presentations, press releases, social media posts, etc. with focus on promoting wider adoption of innovative technologies in B/Ds; - to plan and conduct seminars / webinars, technology forums, workshops, exhibitions, expo and other events under the Smart Lab; - to liaise and work closely with various stakeholders to identify, plan and implement events and programmes; - to compile event statistics, prepare relevant reports and presentation materials; - to fulfil visiting requests from B/Ds and guide the visits by presenting the Smart Lab showcases to visitors; - to keep abreast of the latest development of various innovation technologies; and - to perform other duties as required by supervisor. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements - Minimum 4 years of work experience relevant to Information Technology (IT), and preferably related to event and programme support, liaison, coordination and management related to innovation and technology sectors; - Proven track records in implementing and coordinating events, as well as content creation and editing relevant to the events; - Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese); - A strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively and closely with internal and external stakeholders; - Be self-motivated, mature and able to work independently and prepared to work irregular hours; and - Good knowledge of emerging and innovative technologies related to artificial intelligence, big data analytics, robotics technologies, natural language processing, Internet of Things, AR/VR, spatial data is preferred. *A written test on the candidates may be arranged during the interview. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Chinese Processing (CHI); . At least 1 year's experience in Multimedia (MUL); . 1 year's experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in Adobe Photoshop (APH) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in event management (EMG); . Excellent written English is a must; . Good Putonghua is a must; . Good coordination skills is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in presentation (PEX) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT marketing and promotion (MAR) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
