The CSA will assist the team in handling invitations / requests from the local, Chinese Mainland and overseas ICT industry, asking for senior officials' participation at ICT events or other endeavours. During the process, technical knowledge and skills are required to conduct research on various technologies and background on these ICT organisations / events and to assess if such invitations should be accepted and if accepted, to provide support to senior officials to participate in these ICT events, including the preparation of speeches, presentation materials and event briefs. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; Key tasks of the post will include: (1) conducting research on technologies, ICT organisations, companies, events and background information related to the invitations / requests from the ICT industry; (2) assisting in drafting recommendations of invitations / requests and preparing event briefs, Facebook post, speeches and presentation materials on specific ICT events and ICT related topics for senior government officials; (3) liaising with ICT industry organisations to collect information about the ICT organisations and invitations / events; and (4) supporting ICT events organised by the Government, such as World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit, Hong Kong ICT Awards, etc.. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements (1) Candidates must have at least 4 years of post-qualification working experience in the ICT field. (2) Candidates must have 1 year work experience with/ in the Government/ Public Organisation. (3) Candidates must have 1 year of experience in assisting senior officials in the public sector / senior management in the private sector to attend ICT related events, such as researching on the background of the events / organisations, preparing event briefs and writing speeches / presentation materials. (4) The candidate must possess good written English and Chinese skills, and be fluent in verbal communication in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese. (5) Candidates must possess a good understanding of local ICT industry situation, HKSAR Government's latest policy initiatives and measures on innovation and technology. (6) Candidates should have a general understanding of the latest technical solutions in Business Environments, Security, Artificial Intelligence, Fintech, Smart City, as well as national innovation and technology initiatives. Technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in Chinese Processing (CHI); . At least 2 years' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . At least 2 years' experience in Windows 7/8/10 (W10); . At least 1 year's experience in Multimedia (MUL); . 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage; . 1 year's experience in IT Planning (ITP) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . Excellent written English is a must; . Good spoken English is a must; . Good Putonghua is a must. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
