(T26) The staff will provide on-going support on matters in relation to the monitoring of the regulatory compliance of the certification authorities recognized under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance (ETO), assisting in legislative amendments to the ETO, and the arrangement for mutual recognition of electronic signature certificates in the greater bay area.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;
The staff will be required to
- handle the applications for recognitions under the voluntary certification authority recognition scheme of the ETO;
- monitor the regulatory compliance of the certification authorities recognized under the ETO;
- support the legislative amendments to the ETO;
- support the arrangement for mutual recognition of electronic signature certificates in the Greater Bay Area;
- provide secretariat and logistics support for meetings and relevant events;
- conduct technical and legal researches in relation to the technologies of electronic signature certificates and related legislation; and
- support other tasks assigned by supervisors on need basis.

| Requirements |
The candidate shall possess
- in-deep and versatile knowledge of public key infrastructure, especially on digital certificate and related technologies;
- at least 24 months of experience in monitoring regulatory compliance with local ordinances;
- at least 18 months of experience in supporting digital certificates;
- experience in conducting research and evaluation of PKI technologies and related legal matters;
- experience in supporting legislative amendments is preferred;
- knowledge of electronic commerce ordinance and related technologies in overseas jurisdictions is preferred;
- Good command of written English and Chinese; and
- Basic Putonghua preferable.
Technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI);
. At least 1.5 years' experience in Cryptography (CRY);
. At least 1.5 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET);
. At least 1 year's experience in Infrastructure (INF);
. At least 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 2 years' experience in the support of Certification Authority system (CAS);
. At least 1.5 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
. Good Putonghua is a must;
. Good written English is a must;
. At least 1 year's experience in managing international security standards (ISD);
. 1 year's experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
