| Project Nature |
(T26) To manage and maintain the application architecture including but not limited to web, application and database systems, provide technical support services and maintain IT applications in the HongkongPost with very high availability and reliability and good performance.

| Duties |
- Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the Hongkong Post;
a) To manage the application architecture of IT systems;
b) To implement, maintain and support the application platforms, including but not limited to, web, application and database systems;
c) To manage application and data availability, monitor performance and security configuration of IT systems;
d) To provide technical advices on application software, system implementation, testing and troubleshooting;
e) To co-ordinate and execute the Disaster Recovery (DR) drill of each critical applications; and
f) To coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and contractors on project activities.

| Requirements |
a) Solid knowledge and good technical skill on application servers (including Tomcat, JBoss and Oracle WebLogic) and database software (including Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server and etc);
b) At least 6 years of hand-on experience in Oracle Database configuration and technical support;
c) Working experience in implementing large scale and complex IT systems for government will be an advantage;
d) Need to work in various location of HKP;
e) Overtime and on-call work are required when necessary
Technical Skills:
. At least 8 years' experience in Oracle Real Application Cluster (OAC);
. At least 8 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB);
. At least 5 years' experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM);
. At least 3 years' experience in Data Modeling (DMO).
Non-technical Skills:
. At least 3 years' experience in project management (PRM);
. 3 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage;
. 3 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in managing Government IT standards (ITG) is an advantage;
. 1 year's experience in IT procurement (PRO) is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
- At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
