Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HD; - Responsible for the analytics pipeline from data extraction and processing to model creation and result visualization; - Guiding the full life cycle of Big Data solution, including: business case development, technology assessment, solution architecture formulation, proof of concept execution to prove the value of Big Data business cases; - Identify what data is available and relevant from internal and external sources; - Conduct data analysis and create algorithms to predict probabilities; - Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and external partners regarding analysis results, methodologies, project progress and issue resolution; - Full life cycle implementation from requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development, testing, and deployment; - Assess emerging trends in storage access which includes the application of high performance distributed file system storage technologies for use by applications in lieu of traditional relational database storage methods; and - Conduct technology road-mapping for future scalability. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 6.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 3.0 Requirements - Degree holder in Information Technology/Computer Science/Statistics or a related quantitative discipline; - At least 3 years&;#8217; experience in big data analysis / statistics modelling / machine learning / deep learning; - At least 3 years&;#8217; solid experience in Tableau is a must; - At least 3 years&;#8217; solid experience of big data processing framework and tools, such as Apache Drill, Hadoop FS, MapR, NoSQL, etc. is definitely an advantage; - Familiar with one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Java, Scala, R is a plus; - Understanding of big data fundamentals such as concepts and terminology, big data analysis and technology concepts, etc. is a must; - Experience with waterfall and agile delivery approaches; - Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving ability; - Strong knowledge on the latest data technologies; and - Organized, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, responsible, detail-minded and passionate in technology. Technical Skills: . At least 4 years' experience in business intelligence/data mining (BDM); . At least 4 years' experience in Data Warehouse (DWH); . At least 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM); . At least 3 years' experience in Data Modeling (DMO); . At least 3 years' experience in Oracle RDBMS (ODB); . 3 years' experience in Data Architecture (DAR) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 2 years' experience in managing Government projects (MGP); . At least 1 year's experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT); . At least 1 year's experience in Government tendering procedures (GTP); . At least 1 year's experience in vendor management (VMG); . 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 6 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
