To support Mainland ICT events and visits with DPO involvement in Guangdong Province on same day return journey on a need basis, with a frequency of less than 5 times per year. Monthly Salary Range HK$ N/A - N/A Project Nature (T26) This is a CSA position responsible for supporting ICT industry development in the areas of Mainland cooperation, e-Commerce and innovative technologies; and Hong Kong, China's participation in international organisations (e.g. the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)) on ICT related matters. Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO; To support senior management's participation in Mainland and local events / meetings related to ICT; To conduct research and assessment on ICT and Mainland-related matters; To liaise with internal and external parties on Mainland ICT events and visits; To research the development of digital technologies and latest trends; To review / provide inputs / comments on documentations from relevant authorities, organisations and bodies on ICT related matters; To take part in IT system coordination activities (e.g. Helpdesk Support, liaison with relevant stakeholders, etc.) and provide administration and logistic support to events and meetings; and To undertake any other duties assigned. Yrs of Total Post-Quali Exp 4.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp 1.0 Requirements Fluency in English and Putonghua, possess good English and Chinese writing and communication skills; Good understanding of the ICT development in the Mainland. (e.g. recent trends, focus areas of development, National 14th Five-Year Plan, Greater Bay Area, etc.); Good understanding of ICT cooperation between the Mainland and Hong Kong (e.g. Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), Memorandum of Understanding on Facilitating Cross-boundary Data Flow within the Greater Bay Area, Co-operation Agreement between Guangdong and the HKSAR on Co-developing a Smart City Cluster, etc.); It is preferable for the candidates to have experience in event management; and Working on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays is occasionally required upon request. Technical Skills: . At least 1 year's experience in Website Administration (WEA); . At least 6 months' experience in Internet/ Intranet (INT); . 6 months' experience in Chinese Processing (CHI) is an advantage. Non-technical Skills: . At least 6 months' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR); . 1 year's experience in event management (EMG) is an advantage; . Good Putonghua is an advantage; . 6 months' experience in negotiation (NEG) is an advantage; . Good coordination skills is an advantage. - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent; - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
